This distinctive candle reproduces a circa-1930 Evangeline soda bottle from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Evangeline Beverages operated on Robie Street and produced its own ginger ale, club soda, orange drink and other soft drinks while also bottling internationally recognized brands such as 7-Up.

The company’s name recalls Evangeline, the celebrated Acadian figure whose story became deeply connected with Nova Scotia and Maritime identity.

Hand-poured in Sudbury, Ontario, using pure, micro-filtered Canadian beeswax sourced from small Canadian beekeepers. It burns cleanly with a warm golden glow and the naturally light honey aroma of genuine beeswax. No added fragrance and no paraffin.

Because every candle is individually hand-poured with natural beeswax, slight variations in colour and finish are normal and make each candle unique.

CANDLE CARE

• Place the candle upright on a heat-resistant candle plate before lighting.
• Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before every burn.
• Keep the candle away from drafts to encourage an even burn.
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
• Do not burn for longer than four hours at one time.
• Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains.

PURE CANADIAN BEESWAX Our candles are hand-poured using pure Canadian beeswax. No fancy equipment, just steady hands and an eye for perfection. And of course, all of our ingredients are sustainably taken from small, Canadian beekeepers who respect their bees and the environment. We do not add paraffin or synthetic fragrance to our pure beeswax candles. The subtle, naturally occurring honey-like aroma comes from the beeswax itself and may vary from batch to batch. Because beeswax is a natural product, slight variations in colour and aroma are normal and are part of the character of genuine beeswax.
