A rare piece of Toronto history recreated entirely in pure Canadian beeswax.

James Walsh operated his Toronto soda business from 1879 to 1902. This distinctive Circa Collection candle captures the shape of one of his rare 1880s blob-top soda bottles, complete with its beautifully embossed beaver, crown and Toronto lettering.

Standing approximately 7″ tall, this is a substantial solid-beeswax bottle candle with an estimated burn time of 80 hours. Its impressive height, unusual bottle top and crisp historical embossing make it equally appealing as a functional candle, conversation piece or gift for a Canadian antique-bottle collector.

Hand-poured by Pioneer Spirit in Sudbury, Ontario, using pure micro-filtered Canadian beeswax. It contains no added fragrance—only the naturally light honey aroma and warm golden colour of genuine beeswax.

Each candle is individually hand-poured. Slight variations in golden colour and finish are natural characteristics of genuine Canadian beeswax and handmade craftsmanship.

CANDLE CARE

Place the candle on a stable, heat-resistant plate before lighting. Trim the wick to approximately ¼″ before every burn. Never leave a burning candle unattended or place it near drafts, children or pets.

PURE CANADIAN BEESWAX Our candles are hand-poured using pure Canadian beeswax. No fancy equipment, just steady hands and an eye for perfection. And of course, all of our ingredients are sustainably taken from small, Canadian beekeepers who respect their bees and the environment. We do not add paraffin or synthetic fragrance to our pure beeswax candles. The subtle, naturally occurring honey-like aroma comes from the beeswax itself and may vary from batch to batch. Because beeswax is a natural product, slight variations in colour and aroma are normal and are part of the character of genuine beeswax. Each candle is hand-poured by Pioneer Spirit in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. CANDLE CARE Always place candles on a suitable heat-resistant holder or surface. Keep the wick trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch and keep burning candles away from drafts, children, pets and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
