Also known as gum rosin or colophony, pine rosin is a versatile natural tree resin valued for its tack, hardness and ability to blend with waxes and oils. It is commonly incorporated into beeswax-wrap mixtures, encaustic art mediums, wood finishes, varnishes, sealants and traditional adhesive formulations.
