Canadian coffee, pure beeswax and a little piece of history.
The Pioneer Spirit Camping, Coffee and Chicory Box brings together some of our favourite things about Northern Ontario — good coffee, campfires, cottage country and stories from the past.
Inside you'll find Pioneer Spirit Medium Blend Coffee alongside an unusual collection of hand-poured pure Canadian beeswax candles and fire starters.
The Camp Coffee and Chicory bottle candle takes its inspiration from the distinctive Scottish coffee and chicory bottle. Camp Coffee itself dates to the late 1800s and has remained a familiar British coffee and chicory product for generations.
Closer to home, our Sudbury Brewing pillar has a uniquely Northern Ontario story. The original old bottle was broken, but the surviving bottom portion was too interesting to discard. It became the basis for a candle mould, allowing part of that old Sudbury bottle to live again in beeswax.
Our small white Circa cream bottle candles continue the vintage bottle theme.
Then we added an Iceberg Candle for those hot summer afternoons when coffee is better over ice.
And because coffee and campfires just seem to belong together, we've included our Brown Sugar Cube Fire Starters — They look like brown sugar cubes beside your coffee, but they're actually beeswax and sawdust fire starters made for getting the campfire going.
